Important exclusion

Not compatible with carburetors that use an angled tube coming out of the top. CRF, KLX, TTR and engine-displacement references describe common applications only. Compare your original assembly, cable ends, routing and dimensions before purchasing.

Installation and safety

  • Installation should be completed by a qualified technician if you are unfamiliar with throttle systems.
  • Route the cable away from exhaust components, steering stops, pinch points and sharp bends.
  • With the engine off, turn the handlebars fully left and right and confirm the throttle returns immediately in every position.
  • Set appropriate free play according to the vehicle manufacturer's service information.
  • Do not operate the vehicle if the throttle sticks, binds or fails to return fully.
